Existing Patients
Reduced stress. Increased immune function. Improved range of motion. Relief from pain and muscle tension. These are just a few of the many benefits of receiving massage therapy, which Kinesio Care Center offers either as part of a larger treatment program or as its own standalone service.
Therapeutic massage is becoming increasingly popular among people of all ages, and we welcome all for treatment. Whether you seek relief from stress, injury, or an acute or chronic condition, our licensed massage therapist is standing by to put your mind and body at ease with the aid of one of the world’s oldest healing arts.
Our massage therapist employs a wide range of soft tissue manipulation techniques, each shown to have a profound and positive impact on their recipients. If you have not first met with our chiropractor, you may identify any specific joints or other areas of your body which have been causing discomfort to our massage therapist. If you are living with a condition which cannot be so easily pinpointed, such as fatigue or depression, our massage therapist will be no less ready to treat you with their skillful touch.

The Benefits of Massage Therapy
Therapeutic massage can yield multiple health benefits including reduced heart rate, lower blood pressure, improved blood circulation and increased lymph flow. While therapeutic massage cannot actually increase muscle strength, it has been shown to stimulate weak, inactive and atrophied muscles, making it an excellent part of a recovery program following a prolonged illness or other period of inactivity. Therapeutic massage’s ability to promote endorphin production also poses several benefits to those living with chronic illnesses including cancer, type 2 diabetes, arthritis and stroke.
Massage therapy is an effective treatment for a wide range of conditions related to stress. People who are living with anxiety or depression often report an improvement in their overall mood immediately following a therapeutic massage. Therapeutic massage may also reduce fatigue, alleviate the symptoms of chronic headaches or migraines, and provide both immediate and lasting relief from the inflammation, tissue damage and strain associated with muscle tension and repetitive stress injuries including carpal tunnel syndrome. In some cases massage therapy may even improve the patient’s range of motion!
Of course, we can’t overlook the most popular aspect of massage in general: It feels great. Even if you are not currently suffering from any acute or chronic health conditions, the soothing touch of our licensed massage therapist is sure to put you in a healthier frame of mind and make your body feel sublime.
Designed for Your Comfort
We do all we are able to ensure you will be as comfortable as possible while you are receiving massage therapy. Each session takes place in a private room. If you wish to undress for your massage, then our therapist will leave the room after providing you with a clean sheet with which to cover yourself. You are under no obligation to remove any clothing during your session, however. Simply share your preferences with our massage therapist and they will gladly accommodate you, as they can administer an excellent massage no matter your state of dress.
If we can do anything to help you feel more comfortable while you are receiving your massage, then we welcome you to share with us before your arrival at Kinesio Care Center. Many people are uneasy before receiving their first massage. Fortunately, putting worries to rest is one of our massage therapist’s specialties.
The immediate effects of therapeutic massage are as varied as the people who receive it. Once your therapeutic massage has ended, you may feel a surge of energy. Alternatively, you may feel relaxed to the point of drowsiness. There is no wrong way to feel following a therapeutic massage, but in addition to following any advice our massage therapist might give you, we recommend drinking plenty of fresh water after you have left the massage room. This will help to flush out any toxins that your massage may have released from your soft tissues.
